Where are we?

Formerly The Greyhound, the pub takes its inspiration from the candle factory that operated for over a hundred years in nearby York Road. An additional nod to the pub’s sixties heyday as a thriving market tavern is represented by the colourful pop-art and psychedelic imagery adorning the walls.

The amazing interior also extends to the garden with “outdoor rooms” both front and rear, colourfully lit and containing cosy heated pods.

It's a place to eat, drink and socialise that is original, independent and that understands its roots and is proud of them. We aim to help make this beautiful, cobbled part of Battersea High Street a destination now and in the future. 

Now Bacchus Sundays roasts are swinging on in!!

The Globe is ideally located close to Marylebone Station and is just a short walk to Lord’s Cricket Ground and also Abbey Road Studios, made famous by The Beatles.

We are on Lisson Grove, where the character Eliza Doolittle from Pygmalion / My Fair Lady was born and raised!

Recently refurbished, The Globe has existed for over 170 years and is now owned and managed by brothers Eduardo & Andres.

The Duke of Wellington public house has sat on the same site since 1842. We serve a wide range of real ales, beers, ciders, and carefully selected wines, while hosting the most exciting and delicious culinary pop-ups.

Bacchus Pub and Kitchen was once the an icon of Hoxton until property developers put an end to that. Bacchus Sundays was born from those ashes. 

We are delighted to be back on Hoxton Street, serving our roast from Howl at the Moon.

The Howl is a great beer pub with a large selction to choose from. Also on a Sunday evening you can let your roast settle while listening and absorbing the impromtu Ceili that happens every Sunday.
